Ink status I don't mind as I have spare carts here all the time...
 
...the print head status I have more issues with. My 2000C is 2 years old and I know that two of the heads should be needing replacement (the blue and black have already been replaced due to premature failure) however even when I print out a status/test page on the printer itself (by holding down the power button, pressing the ">" button five times then releasing the power button) it is still telling me (using those printed bargraphs) that the print heads are fine!

The only other thing that makes me moderately angry is that they still haven’t produced a driver which provides ink-level and printhead status in XP/Win2k.
