Hmm. It has not detected motion now for 3 hrs and 10 mins (since we left for work) - but it is still detecting light on X+1 (last at 11:20 am) - not that it's really a problem, as it's set to B2 (and B3 for Dawn/Dusk) and I let homeseer pick that up - then action it (and using the MS13 scripts from the message board by mr doolittle)

I was curious to know why it still sends +1 commands when only set to 24hr...

   I think you've misunderstood how these work - though I might have remembered this wrong myself!
 
   They always send on channel x and x+1 (X=1 being dusk/dawn).  {Proviso - if you have taken the thing apart and disabled the sensor with either wire snips or by taping over it this doesn't apply}!
 
The 24 hour thing I think stops the unit sending light on/off commands (i.e. on channel X) UNLESS it has sensed darkness (channel X+1).   If you've set this, then you shouldn't be getting motion detection during daylight.
