Not cold water, just a differing view on it. My letters were sent
yesterday registered post. I will await their response. I took advice
>from
Kodak and give them the opportunity to reconsider (either deliver the
camera or pay the difference) and if they don't then go through the
small claims court. Conflicting views are what Kodak need right now.
Let's say 10,000 people ordered cameras.=20
1. Email retraction from Kodak - 2,000 drop it
2. Changing of order status from PROCESSING to REMOVED - 1,000 drop it
3. no reply to email, fax or phone queries except to reiterate the
initial statement - 1,000 drop it
4. time - for each week that goes by and nothing happens then 2,000 more
people drop it.=20
Quite soon Kodak have reduced their liabilities by half :-) now it's
only a =A31m problem as opposed to =A32-3m.=20
If I was in charge of Kodak, that is *exactly* what I would do. The
general consensus is that Kodak has made a contract and they should
honour it. If they don't, then tell them your intentions are to go to
court for loss of bargain. How many letters do you think Kodak have
actually got? <100 I'd say.=20
My letters have been sent. How many people in UKHA who ordered a camera
have sent a letter?
