Whats with "RURAL" ????
We live in the centre of town and I nearly buggered over 5 times walking to
get the car to go to the In-Laws New Years Party. There has been absolutely
NO gritting whatsoever here and the roads and pavements are lethal :-(
When we came out I couldnt get the car door open.....it was frozen shut !!!

LOL... glad I am not the only one spending NY looking for something decent
on TV! Maybe we should arrange a UKHA-NY do for next year. Although that
would still mean we might need automated gritters to keep the roads clear.
"Rural" living has distinct disadvantages.
