I'd add that I only do automatic lighting in the following rooms...

 

Kitchen

Utility

Downstairs Hall

Upstairs Hall

En-Suite (only in Night Mode)

Exterior Lighting

 

Because a PIR only detects movement and not occupance it's best suited to these areas where there is constant movement.

Agreed, but you can “fudge” it by using timers within HV, even in rooms where little or no movement can or is detected, dependant on the room and the use of it. It’s far from a perfect solution I agree, but it can work to an extent and I find it acceptable in most cases, although sometimes it bugs the hell outta me that there isn’t a better way!
