Which
makes me think it was an optical problem.
The
output of the single emitter would be higher than that from a double
emitter due
to the higher current flowing through it.
Try a
270R or 510R resistor in series with a single emitter and see if that makes
a
difference.

I think I have stopped the
problem but not solved it,sure its something odd.
I have taken the
single emitter from Zone 2,zone 2 was the problem one that if you set to
it
it would trigger zone 1. I plugged in a twin emitter to zone 2 and now
things seem ok.So far..........
