RTFM (Read The F****** Manual ----- or could be Ring The Fire-Brigade
Mate!)

On LetsAutomate the ratings re given as:
10A Resistive (AC assumed)
3A Motor
Incandescent 2000W

As an immersion heater is slightly inductive (anyone ever measure one?) the
current rating will be a bit less than 10A

Just wired up an AW10 to an 3kW immersion heater, when I tap the
switch there's a loud pop, a blue flash, and not a lot happens - the
load remains switched on whatever. The red light on the front doesn't
light at all.

Taken everything apart, wiring is fine. Any suggestions? Is 3kW a bit
much for an AW10?

Alex
