Your IR beam-break detectors look interesting. I've been
experimenting with a PIR, LD11 and HV to do automatic light control
but the PIR's are just not sensitive or fast acting enough. Since
I'm going to be flood wiring the house (and making a lot of holes in
the walls) other detection/occupancy systems are interesting. How
well does yours work? I guess if you could put two of these side-by-
side, you'd be able to detect direction of movement and hence
determine occupancy of a room?

The LCD is also interesting - does it compare with the nicer
displays out there (in terms of aesthetics, brightness etc). What
are you going to use it for?
