XP pro has 2 things in the config - Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop,
you need to enable both of them. This then allows you to move the desktop
to a separate machine, but it's only one session you are moving about. That
is the limitation. With the server editions you get multi user capabilities
and
lots of remote screens. I'm not sure of the licensing with Remote Desktop,
the server edition certainly needs a CAL for each machine - but as I said,
W2K comes with a CAL. The server itself can generate a client to download
and you should use their license server to control things. Not sure what
the
prices are though.
