I have just downloaded this software and it is wonderful.

The ISBN lookup is good, I had to use both US amazon and Uk amazon to
find some books.

One thing to remember is that it does not give you an error if it can't
see amazon etc, it will just say that the ISBN does not exist. I had to
find the proxy settings before it worked.

Having a look at the site you can get free barcode readers sent to any
address in the US, I am going to pick a few up as we are going there in
a couple of months!!

:-)

I have spent some time looking at http://www.readerware.com It *seems*
to
offer everything we are looking for, it will accept an input as an ISBN
and
will then go onto the web and search sites for ISBNs and then update a
local
database with the results, It appears to take the images of the jacket

these sites too.

It can export data from itself to other formats, so could be imported
into
your preferred software.

I'm going to download this tonight and have a play, I'll let you know
what I
think tomorrow.

Daniel
