I got remote access working with the reset.

On my work WAP11 I then discovered the two passwords were the wrong way
around!  This is because the boxes in the dialog are labelled wrongly -
r/o is r/w and vice versa.

On my home hub I can get remote SMNP access but it won't do any
updates. :-(

Oh, and while download speed is fine upload speed is rubbish - 1 minute
for a 2 meg file even with perfect reception.  And I onl;y get perfect
reception for 5 metres.  I get nothing at all once I'm 10 metres from
the WAP11.

Time to turn the power up!
