RE: Power triggering

If there is, Linn don't tell you about it :-)

The setup is:  {various sources} --(CAT5)--> Linn Intersekt (the heart of the system) --(Cat5)--> Line Receivers (the modules in the various zones) --(Cat5)--> RCU's.
The ZAmps are fed from the Line Receiver by standard phono outputs, which is why I thought inserting something at this stage would do the job.
Linn do sell a switching jobbie that integrates nicely, but it is, as with everything Linn, too damned expensive - I think if I lived to be 200, I still wouldn't spend as much in 'wasted' electricity powering the zamps 24/7 as I would in buying their switcher :-(

Is there a low voltage trigger on the RCU ?? could use a powerflash and an appliance module.

Not really workable here - zamps are for linn knekt zones.  SWMBO only just
about tolerates using Knekt RCU to control system.

SWMBO would NOT tolerate using RCU to control system AND have to use
pronto/keyfob to actually turn it on/off.
Plus, would have to remember to turn it on/off each night, so may as well go
to ZAMP cupboard and flip two switches.....
