All that hassle for the occasional party......? :D

Quick/dirty/cheap...... Have a virtual device in Homeseer (eg Z1) Have
an X10 timer set to switch amp off unless Z1 is on.

Control Z1 from web page/ pronto command/ rf keyfob etc, etc, etc

I use something similar in my kitchen... PIR which behaves in different
ways depending on the time, unless I've used the RF keyfob to set an
Always On, or Always Off flag......
