So, erm,
Whats to stop you purchasing a nice cheeeep doorbell, ripping it open,
sticking a big battery and the guts of a keyfob remote, wired up to the
original doorbell push button?

or am I just too cannibalistic in my technical approach ;)

I couldn't afford to hand them out to all possible visitors to the house :(
Nor would it go down well to nail a remote the wall with a brief
