Yes, I have a couple of DDR's waiting for me to pick up in the US.
I plan to use the DDR's for 'a little remote setup in a room somewhere' as
you suggest.
I would say the atron is better suited for you main AV/HiFi system, where
as
DDR's are more suited for bedroom/bathroom/garage/shed etc.
Sorry, dont know where you can get them cheap.
