Hi,

I'm after some advice about the Rio Receiver.

I've been watching this list for a while and have heard some good things
about the DDAR/Rio Receiver. I want to start putting audio around my house,
and this seems the best and cheapest way of doing it in the form of a
centralised MP3 "jukebox".

I've got the chance to get as many Rio Receivers as I want from a mate in
the US, for £150 delivered to the UK (give or take a few quid for exchange
rates).

My questions are: Is this a good price ? Does anyone recommend getting them
? Any good/bad stories about them ? Are there going to be any problems
getting a US one rather than a UK one ? Are they selling them off as they
are problems/it's old stock/something new is coming out ?

As far as the Rio website suggests, all I'll need to do is get a UK figure
of 8 mains lead, and just plug it straight in.

Any advice/guidance, as I'm beginning to think the only hope I have of
getting a Rio is to import it, as all UK distributers seem to be out of
stock permanently.

Cheers,

Simon
