The information I have is that IDE and CF are *NOT* electrically
compatible...

....I have also been told that the penpad *CAN* boot from a PCMCIA hard
disc so you should be able to use a CF card in a PCMCIA adaptor if
that's true - unfortunately there's only one PCMCIA slot!
