Agreed - my monitor and card are both dual, so I can do an easy comparison,
and the DVI output is a lot sharper in my experience, although the analogue
lead I was using wasn't anything special, and that can also make a huge
difference.

Thats the opposite of what I have found. General clenlieness of the
picture was improved, and the fringing around lines on the screen was
removed when going to DVI
