Twas the Week before Christmas

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house,
No packet was stirring at flick of a mouse,
The ISDN box had upped sticks and left,
The ADSL's ordered, but don't hold your breath.

The Terminal Adaptor has gone, makes me squirm
It wasn't quite ours, belonged to Mary's ex Firm,
But they wanted it back since she's now 'fically left
But leaves us with no access, of Web we're bereft

The good news however, is that the kit they took back,
Didn't include the PC, or the hub from the rack
Neither was needed, too old to redeploy,
So the Harrison household will continue to enjoy.

So ADSL for Christmas? or will it not be...
... installed in time? It's only wires-free
I've acquired from a colleague a modem by gum,
in exchanged for a bottle (TBA) of Whiskey or Rum.

So on-line or off-line I don't really know?
In the same way I can't tell whether drizzle or snow.
To UKHA, however, I'll follow the trends...
