Hi all

I have a question regarding my home network:

I have:
1 fileserver (Running Windows 2K )
2 Fuji's running Windows 95
1 desktop running Win98
1 Laptop running Win98
1 Laptop running XPpro

Now I run these with an ADSL router, and each machine on a static IP

I am running NetBios / TCP/IP as the networking protocol(s) although it took
me ages to find NetBios for XP as I see that Mr Gates no longer supports
NetBios. :-)

My question is, what do I do in the place of NetBios? - As I see it, if I
remove it, I can no longer see other machines on my network. - Is there a
better way of configuring this network to run with say TCP/IP only?

Many thanks

Daniel
