The LM12 only supports Standard Dim.

The only way to emulate a soft start on the LM12 is to dim to zero rather
than using the off command. However, this will still use power and with
some
bulbs you may notice a low glow.

For a plug in lamp module, this is all that is currently available in the
UK.

There are alternatives which will allow for the more advanced dimming you
wish to use, but these are harder to fit such as the DIN Rail Modulke
LD10(11).
