Ben, should be fine provided your expectations of using it as a PC aren't
too high. My Win2K server is a P2-266 with 64MB RAM, running IIS (multiple
reasonably busy sites), PHP4, MySQL, email server, and DNS server. It's not
very quick if I log in to it, but as a server it's fine.

  I am going to be installing Win 2000 on my home server and I would like
  some advice will win 2000 cripple the machine. It is a PPRO 2000 with 96
  Meg of RAM. All I want it to do is serve 1 DDAR with mp3 and to be used
  as a reverse proxy for Tivo and as a pc when I need to run simple pc
  software.

  What do you all think?
