Re: AUTOM8IT + IRM

Hi,

This is not a problem anymore.... I will post the new schematic in a couple of days.
The problem was only with the output range, but now it works ok even with wall bouncing.
I have only one IR sender in the livingroom (aprox. 30sqm) and a lot of electronic devices on every side and is working ok.
I have use it for  a couple of months now and it seems to be very reliable. The infrared input plugin is usefull with the AutoM8it only when you are at home, because.... other way... who can send IR command?...;)
To learn the IR commands you can use the standalone version if you have locks problem... (by the way... I use it on Win XP Pro and have no issue with the AutoM8it and IR input plugin)...

Best regards,
Dan
P.S. I still wait for your feedback if you have tried the Infrared Remote Manager (both standalone and plugin version).
I cannot improve the application without your help.

  Hi Stuart
Can you let me know how you go when you get your hardware
  installed please?

Also what hardware are you using?  Dan had problems with the circuit he has
on his site . I think it was because the oscillator wasnt continuoiusly
  running ...so be careful....
