Nope well initially I was using cat5 on my servers I always had 2 spaces
in the 3524xl but no gigabit modules. Got offered the modules one day I
couldn't refuse then found some really cheap gigabit fibre cards on ebay
(50quid for 2 Server Intel 1000).
