RE: Displays around the house - direct to a pc or via

I lack the electronics know how to analyse this properly, but could
siteplayer drive these displays?

I'm guessing the problem would be throuput, but you have a very small
ethernet & serial device. you could hardwire the serial to the display,
or
use a small connector rather that RS232C 9 pin & wire a short UTP lead
on
to the board & you'd have a very small addition to the display.
