1) I'll get dimenssion info to you once we all finally agree on which
display we want to use, or perhaps which displays we want to use.

2) Comments about the above observations, if we're using rabbit, the
obvious biggest component is the RJ45 connector, this is probably true
for siteplayer. However as we can drive serial over several feet, no
reason why the module couldn't be house seperatly ?
