Do affordable programable
displays like these actually exist? Personally I'd like to find a
simple cheap display that would fit niceley into a single, possibly
double
sized UK blanking plate.
I finally managed to install my Lutron
Graphic
Eye light switch in the lounge, which is fantastic. But next to it
I
have the old light switch covered with a blanking plate. I'd
always
intended to put some sort of display there, but haven't found anything
suitable. SWMBO is suggesting I fill/plaster over the whole, so I
need do something quick. Hell even if I could find a little
display
that just showed the temperature in the room and could fit it niceley
into
a single face plate that would be good.
Any URLs?

I think a proper
graphical LCD screen would be way OTT, and probably too expensive to
have
in several rooms. The size of the display I think is important, it
should be subtle. We might have a lot of info to display but if
its
too big it could be distracting, when not in use. I'd like a
couple of buttons on the display for control as well.
A couple of
years ago I really liked the keypads that came with B&W's
Casa system (http://www.bwspeakers.com/products/gallery/photo_details.cfm?object_id=A163 38B3-3321-11D4-A67F00D0B7473B37),
but the cost of the whole system and its reliance on other B&W kit
put
me off.
