Whilst some may consider that I have had one couple of run ins in the past, which I have ended with both side agreeing to disagree, I thought I’d point this out…

The reason we wonder into off topic posts is that there is a wealth of knowledgable people on this is, in many fields… Is it not possible to have an OT list?.. anything that gets posted in the main list that would be off topic like, web hosting, general computing stuff, could be posted there.. That way all the noise that is so general that annoys many users could be directed there, and ignored by those who simply don’t want it…

Anyone posting anything slightly related could cross just the heading?, If anyone posts anything OT to the main list, they could be redirected to post to OT as quickly as possible..

I applogise if there is one already, but if there is, no one is redirecting people to it!

Now, I know some will say that the new list is not a home automation list.. True.. But this would free the home automation list to be what I think everyone wants it to be.

Just a suggestion.

J
