Just ordered the meteor for caller id....looking forward to playing with it.......I think swmbo liked the idea...I did mention it in passing and I'm sure the grumble was an OK one (I hope)......:-)

More interesting is i've finally put a tee>from hot water supply to my bath, which is linked via cat 5 to a powersupply plugged into x10 AD10.....

Now I can run a bath from the comfort of my bed....The demo had SWMBO, me and son in batroom to test....son pressed the buton and bingo it worked.....:-)

The hot is currently connected...Approx 70°C and the valve still works well. I will connect the cold via a tee when I feel like working in very cramped conditions again (my hands and arms are very sore)

It may not seem like much of an achievement, but when my arthritis is bad, the only thing that can help (after lots of tablets) is a very hot bath, this may help me to get to work in the mornings, as it can run whilst I try and get out of bed.

Are plumbers all really small with small hands and lots of strength.....either that or how the heck did they manage to work on that bath ??????

a happy chappy

Campbell
