Had a look at the beambar thingy . I did a 4 beam thingy for
a friend who designs some security products and he was using it as
a
presence sensor....The code could be modifed (pic controlled) to sense
direction , but the price of the beambar doesnt seem expensive so may not
be
at all viable for a home brew unit........
