For short distances (a few metres) that should be fine. The physical
barrier
between the mains & LV is important (or sufficient air gap) i.e. it
would be
wrong (against regs) to run mains & LV in the same conduit.
The "formal" advice is to keep mains & LV at least 12"
apart. This is often
impractical especially in retrofits so just do the best you can :-)
I tried to keep mains on one floor joist LV on another so they were
about
16" apart. They do get much closer than that in a number of places
though.
