This is really starting to take shape and i intend to buy this kit if....
My intention is to get rid of all the remotes and have all my ir done

Also I am not going down the HomeVision route yet money :-( but I am
quite happy to hack software to do the control side and would look at
creating some java classes to communicate with the rx/tx box.

brew unit was a blaster type system and when working on the current
system some of the guys explained to me about the stick on emitter
system and eventually it sunk in.................
