Subject: [ukha_d] Very shallow
wall/ceiling speakers
I
plan
to put speakers for announcements in each room. Idea is to put them above
the
doors.
However,
my internal walls are made of plasterboard and very thin. They are 50mm
thick
in total from one surface to another. Plasterboard is 12mm thick, so there
is
only 38 mm left from one side to fit the speakers.
Do
you
know any speakers of decent quality, that would fit there, preferrably
white?
The
only ones I found are from Henry's (not on a web site) for £8, but
frequency
response is 100Hz-12K, I think, or even worse, so I'm very sceptical that
anything apart from voice will be clear enough.
And
they are a bit too big for my taste. I would prefer something
smaller.
Any
suggestions?
