Here's some code for an xAP plugin for Outlook unread messages. It's written in VBA, because it was written within Outlook2000. I'm appreciate it if someone could just test with OutlookXP for me.

I'm not really taking part is this thread..
but i tested your code on Outlook XP - 'Windows 2000 Pro SP3'
 
It works fine..
 
When running the code for the first time you get the following message.
And when you click yes you get the following message box..
 
I then closed down outlook, open it checked my mail again and got the message again...
And when you click yes you get the following message box..
 
If you get the macro access to outlook for 10 minutes and download more mail
i only get your pop-up box with the new count in it..
