Have a look at www.bptautomation.co.uk and www.bft.co.uk we use the BPT gear all the time, its not the cheapest but it is very good. Let me know if you need more specific help.

I was wondering if anyone had any links or experience with systems to open gates. I don’t want to buy the car I’m thinking of buying and park it at the front of the house, BUT equally I know I’m to lazy to get out and open the side gates every morning and night.

 

There are 2 gates, each roughly 2.5 Meters wide by 2 meters tall.
