RE: Inductive power couplings

Hi Nigel,

You could probably build something but by far the simplest is a
conventional
docking station like the iPaq, Pronto etc.

The higher the power demands the device has the larger the inductive
coupler
would need to be. There is also the danger that something metallic could
get
inside the loop which would cause it to get hot. (Consider an Inductive Hob
in the kitchen)

A toothbrush is used for about 4 minute per day and has 23 hours 56
minuites
to recharge.

I am sure there will be info on the net somewhere on how to do it.

I was just wondering, as was looking at my Braun
electric toothbrush this morning... The Braun has a
water-proof charging system.

Can you buy/make easily inductive power couplings to
supply power for charging stuff??
