Thanks Michal
You've given me some more ideas now.....

Nobody said it was _difficult_. She's a SWMBO ffs - irrationality is
an
essential part of her makeup :D
I'm sure even SWMBO could be taught to pust a button on the pronto but
I
don't want overnight guest/housesitter to have to learn to do these things
-
they are used to 'normal' houses where you just go to bed - you don't
hunt
for the remote and tell it you're going to bed......
There are futher issues in that SWMBO goes upstairs for a bath. After
said
bath she decides she might as well go straight to bed - why should she
have
to trot downstairs and dig out the pronto when all she wants to do is
cross
the hallway and go into the bedroom?
How do others solve this (Ken????) Or do you all have pronto's
surgically
attached? :-)
Tony
