Have used serial and parallel to Ethernet converters before, never
thought of looking for 10BASE-T to 802.11 converters.
Did a search and came up with this Avaya ORiNOCO box,

Is this the sort of thing you are on about??
Seems very expensive at =A3188 for the box (Dabs) PLUS an additional
PCMCIA card to make it work!

What did you get and where at that price??
