Hi Bruno,
Have you considered ditching your PC's compltely and going for a
network
media player?
A number of ppl here have Rio Receivers/DDARs which unfortunately are
no
longer available, but also there are these devices which a few of us
have
also:
Turtlebeach Audiotrons: =
http://www.audiotron.net/audiotron.asp
Available from http://www.internett=
uner.dk for about =A3275
SLiMP3's: http://www.slimdevices.co=
m/
Can't remember where from over here, but is =A3250 or they they do ship
internationally for $250 a pop.
You just missed a bulk buy that would get them for about =A3180
Both of these have their advantages and disadvantages, with some being:
AT limited to about 30,000 songs, SLiMP3 unlimited
AT has front panel controls, SLiMP3 does not.
SLiMP3 is smaller but has bigger readable display.
SLiMP3 needs server side software, AT does not.
SLiMP3 software is open source, AT's is not.
AT has optical and analog out, SLiMP3 only has analog - but this is
purported to be as good as AT optical out.
SLiMP3 only supports MP3 natively but can (or soon will be able to)
transcode from other formats. MAy reduce quality though!
Also, if you have several SLiMP3's, you can synchronise them to play
the
same track throughout your house.
Anyway, there's pro's and cons to everything - have a look and feel free
to=
ask questions if you want more info....

Both the AT and the SLiMP3 can be controlled via a web interface or
remote.=
The AT also has normal transport controls like a CD player.
HTH,
Tony
