Easiest way is to get her to use a keyfob remote or onbe of those American
syle stick on wall switches.  That way you can send a macro command rather
than a light off.

The macro command could then set the light off and also a flag to say the
light was switch off by SWMBO's switch therefore do not come back on again.
You can then have a timed event that resets the flag during the day.

We use two buttons normal one for the bedside lights and a goodnight button
which switches off all the lights and puts the alarm into Night Mode.  All
this is HV but I use to do the same when I used HomeSeer.
