This is why I deliberately ran one of mine for over a week. As far as
I can tell, the single report (that I have come across) of an ePOD
failing through extended use was due to either a faulty unit, or the
backlight being on for that length of time. I will set my ePODs to
never shutdown when on external power but for the backlight to go off
after a few seconds.
The problem as ever is time. I need to do some more work on
HomeAutomator and I need to design and build the wall mount for the
ePOD. Once I have done these two things I will install an ePOD and
run it continuously. If there are any problems I will report them
here of course.
