Probably enough to have some sort of influence... Not an expert in
electrical signals, so couldn't possibly comment on that.

If it were the trees blocking the signal, you would have either signal or no
signal (unless they are really flexible and bend a lot in the wind ;-) ).

I'm by no means an expert, this is just from what I have read and heared
about.

Yeah, that is probably the best way of finding out if it is the cable, the
LNB or the box (it might not be able to provide enough oomph to the LNB
anymore?)...
