To clarify.......

The VFD module is RS232 driven. So should work "out of the box".
If
anyone has any questions about them that arn't covered then let me know
if I don't know I'll ask the questions to the supplier.

Stuart: You'd still need 2 serial ports You've got the plugin stuff
spot
on.

Pedro: With regards the timescale for the bulk buy depends how much
interest I have, if there is a date you'd prefer it no to happen before
then let me know.
