How about an X10 RF receiver to RS232? Have you ever made one?

They do exist in US, but they are the wrong frequency. This is useful
to
connect to controller as there is much less latency than using a TM12
receiver and a CM12 interface.

No not at the moment, I am a one man business, so anything I make
will have to make a profit. It all depends on how many people want it.

So I imagine you want to receive from a "example: keyfob type device"
and then input it to your PC, and then your software does something
with it. Correct?

The only trouble with electronics design in my experience over many
years, is that people want lots of added features, then when its
produced, because of all the extra development gone into the device,
they say its too expensive.

Its important to really define at the start EXACTLY what it is to do,
then add nothing more and only if it can be made at the price
suggested, design it.

Comments, anyone?

Regards,

Gary
