Hi Ian,

Thanks, I was really trying to refer to the circuitry necessary to
take the output of the switched mode portion, which I assume
generates one fixed voltage slightly higher and regulates it to the
various other voltages and more importantly provides the right signal
elements to enable the PC to realise it has actually got an ATX psu
and allow the keyboard power on etc to work.

I will actually be supplying it with power from a commercially
manufactured switched mode laptop style power supply initially, which
as an aside according to an RS Brochure that landed on my desk this
morning they are knocking out for about 30quid.

The eventual goal is to move some of the lower current bits of kit to
one large PSU located in Node 0 and have the rest run as quiet as
poss.

On a slightly parallel track does anyone know what the highest clock
speed of Celery or P3 you can run fanless is??And recommend a
heatsink.

Most ATX PSU's don't have a transformer per se..
