Ok chaps, this is looking dooable :-)

I am working with the Nokia PC Connectivity SDK using VB.
So far I have just been messing around with standalone apps, but moving over to
a plugin shouldn't be a problem.

What I propose is a simple setup dialog under HS where the user has ,say 20
text boxes in which to enter a string to be matched against received SMS
messages. Alongside each text box would be another in which you would enter a
script to run on a match. There would also be a PIN code that should proceed
each message.

e.g. a message composed "1234 Coffee machine on" triggers a "get coffee ready"
script.

Each message would be saved to a log file and then deleted so as not to fill up
the phone memory.

Sending messages from HomeSeer is a little trickier. In order to be able to do
this I thought the user could set a global variable. The plugin would check the
value of this variable every x seconds. If it is >"" then it should be sent as
a SMS message and reset to "".

I am thinking of 2 plugins here. Send & receive.

Thoughts?

Justin.
