Very true! Personally, I'd reckon that if someone has physical access
to your LAN at home without your permission, or has hacked your
firewall, you've got bigger security problems to worry about :-)
There is no reason why you couldn't add digital signatures to the xAP-
header, but DESxxx is going to be beyond most embedded devices. PC
nodes would be ok though.
