I thought a modem could do this? how can you connect the meteor to a

It's a caller id device.  Connect to your PC and see who is
calling.
Ultimately I want to get this to talk to TiVo so I can see on the TV who
is
calling before I go hunting for the phone to answer yet another double
glazing call :-/
