That worked thanks.  Seems I didn't remove X the 2nd time after all...

Question now is how to get it working.....
X supports the Millennium card according to the website, but I wasn't
asked what card I had when setting up mandrake & I have no idea how to
find a suitable setup proggie to run :-(
Found Xinstall.sh but that complained some file (expand?) was missing
:-(
