Cradle works great for me.  But I don't store Pronto on it all the time,
I only put it there when it needs charging.

Lets Automate did have some spares a year or more back...

Just as a warning, I took my pronto battery and charging cradle back as
they were crap. The cradle is very good to keep the pronto in but the
charging is hit and miss and my pronto kept restarting every few days
when placed in the cradle. The final nail in its coffin was the shorting
out of the terminals on the bottom of the pronto that caused some
heating and black burn marking!!!!
